paw printAbout Brother's

Welcome to Brother's Bulldogs! We are so glad you have stopped by to visit our site and hope that you will browse and enjoy our Bulldogs as much as we do. We live in Boaz, Alabama (between Birmingham and Huntsville). We have owned and bred Bulldogs for 14 years and absolutely love the breed. These are special animals, so we ensure that they receive the absolute best care and attention from day one.

Bulldogs might be the most unusual looking of all breeds. They are a short-nosed breed, which means they look like they have had a run-in with a Mack truck! While their outward appearance may be odd, they are sweet, loving and gentle creatures. Bulldogs are the ultimate people pleasers and would love to be a part of your family.

If you think this might be the right breed for you and your family, we invite you to check out all of our adorable puppies. They are looking forward to meeting you.

We work closely with the American Kennel Club and The Bulldog Club of America.

paw printEnglish Bulldogs

English Bulldogs commonly fall into the category of lap dogs. However, they are definitely not your typical lap dogs. The first thing you will notice about an English Bulldog is an entirely unique look. Features that immediately stand out are the massive head, dark eyes, big, wide smile and very flat nose. Bulldogs also sport a thick neck and broad chest. Heavy wrinkles fall across the head, nose, throat and shoulders. These stout, compact dogs are muscular and weigh in at approximately 55 pounds. The general appearance of this breed suggests sturdiness, vigor and strength.

An English Bulldog's disposition is gentle by nature. They are found to be sweet, loving, affectionate and loyal, never vicious or aggressive. Although English Bulldogs are often a little stubborn, they are quite intelligent and can be successfully trained. A family will be forever owned by a Bulldog.

This breed is easy to groom. Their coats are short, flat and smooth. Daily brushing and weekly baths keep them fresh, as they have a tendency to drool. An air-conditioned environment is a must. French Bulldogs, sometimes referred to as "frog dogs," are a small breed dog. The nickname "frog dog" comes from their tendency to repeatedly jump about 6 inches off of the ground until acknowledged with a pat on the head or a yummy doggy treat.

These sweet dogs can easily be identified by their tall, wide ears, which resemble those of a bat. A large head, flat nose, huge smile and bright dark eyes also add to their charming look. Frenchies are compact, heavy boned and muscular. They can weigh up to 28 pounds. Frenchies have coats that are short, silky and smooth. Brushing and weekly baths help control shedding.

This breed has a loving disposition that makes them a great asset to any family. They are often described as having a clown-like personality, with tons of curiosity and energy to share. Frenchies are not aggressive dogs and will get along well with other animals. They simply never meet a stranger!
